Mystery masters Olivia & Icarus is a mystery series for middle graders, featuring the mischievous Olivia Corbin and celebrity detective Isac Icarus. Mint flavoured murder is the first book of the series, written and illustrated by me, first published in Finland by WSOY in 2024.
The story follows Olivia Corbin, a 11 year old hobbyist detective who discovers not only one but two murders have taken place in her boarding school. Isac Icarus is hired to solve the cases, but Olivia doesn't trust his abilities. Surprisingly they make a good team and start working together in order to unveil the mysteries of Olivia's school.
The book is about 300 pages long and has 30 black and white illustrations in the spirit of older detective novels.
