Aavepartio is a children's book series illustrated by me, written by Roope Lipasti and published by WSOY in Finland in four volumes 2021-2024. The books are a part of Lukupalat-series. All the books in the series are nice, bite-sized stories that are meant for kids who have just learned to read independently.
I was super inspired to design and illustrate the kids and the monsters, the stories have so much details and ideas that were super delicious to illustrate! I was allowed to have a huge artistic freedom with the illustrations which made this project definitely one of the most relaxed and enjoyable ones I have done.
